St. Pius X High School presents Seussical
a musical of Dr. Seuss Stories

Yet again, St. Pius X High School students have taken on a major theater production.

Seussical. Under the expert direction of Mrs. Christine Vaught (recently honored to receive the Tri-County YWCA 2007 Tribute to Exceptional Woman - Arts award), over sixty of Pius’ students are actively involved in front of or behind the scenes to put on this stunning performance based on the works of Dr. Seuss. Fun for all ages, this fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza encourages our imaginations.... "I can see that you’ve got quite a mind for your age! Why, one Think and you dragged me right onto the stage! Now, I’m here, there is no telling what may ensue. With a Cat such as me, and a Thinker like you!" Along with the famous Cat in the Hat and his “thinking” friend, JoJo, are familiar characters including Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie LaBird, Sour Kangaroo, General Genghis Khan Schmitz, The Wickersham Brothers, Bird Girls, Jungle Creatures, the Grinch and all of the Whos of Whoville! Many of these characters never met one another in Dr. Seuss’ books. But they meet in Seussical. In the course of one evening, some will fall in love, some will have desperate adventures, and some will save a world.
